Mactive Announces Strategic Marketing Partnership with Shoom
MELBOURNE, Fla.
-- Mactive Inc. today announced the formalization of a strategic
marketing partnership with Shoom Inc. The two software companies will engage
in cooperative sales and marketing arrangements for Shooms iTearSheets
digital proof of publication and Mactives AdBase integrated advertising
system. Both products facilitate the ad-fulfillment process between
publishers and their clients.
Shoom and Mactive are
currently implementing systems at several publishing sites. Publishers
and their clients will definitely benefit from this relationship, said
Bill Freschi, CEO of Shoom. Coupling the ad front end to the tearsheet
will provide a much more accurate and manageable booking and
proof-of-publication process. This is a significant part of an online
end-to-end solution for all ad-processing prepress steps, from booking to
billing.
Steve Roessler, Mactives vice president of
marketing, added, Shoom is an industry leader in electronic tearsheet
delivery systems. Beyond the obvious ROI and yearly reductions in processing
expenses, the increased customer service benefits are tremendous. The
Internet will play a significant role in the publishing markets
day-to-day activities for commercial, agency, and private-party clients by
providing flexible options, such as iTearSheets and Mactives products for
online order entry, account management, and electronic statements, to name a
few. Together, Mactive and Shoom will provide the tools to improve customer
relations and expand the partnerships between vendors and clients.
